Every request that reaches this office names two places, because the form asks for the second one you are weighing. That is the part of this notice worth reading first, so it comes early rather than last.
Details that reach the office

Both names travel together
Naming a second place is the point of the form. The office cannot set the Picos de Europa beside the Alpujarras in figures unless it asks both operating companies for a figure, and neither company can price a departure without knowing which one it is being set against for dates and season. So both names go to both companies, along with your month, your party size, and a first name. Your email address and phone number are not sent to either of them. They come back to us, we put the two figures on one page, and you write to whichever address you prefer, or to neither.

Things this office does not do with what you send
Your details are not sold, rented, traded or handed to a list broker. They are not used to build a profile of you, and no scoring or automated decision is applied to anything you write. Nobody is called who did not ask to be called, and nobody is added to a mailing list by sending a request. There is no checkout on this site, so no card number, bank detail or government identification number ever arrives here. If you type one into the open field by accident, write and say so and it is removed the same day, with no record kept of what it was. No health information is asked for and none is wanted.
Anybody younger than sixteen
The form is not built for people under sixteen and this office does not knowingly hold their details. A parent booking a family trip may of course name the ages of the children traveling, because an operating company has to know that to price a room. That is all that is wanted. If you believe a person under sixteen filled in the form on their own account, write to pierhead@thebriarreview.com and it is deleted, along with anything the two companies were sent.
Asking us what we hold
Write to pierhead@thebriarreview.com from the address you used and ask for a copy of what is on file, a correction, or deletion. A written answer takes two to four working days. Deletion means the request itself, the two names on it, and the mail thread. What an operating company holds after a figure has been sent is theirs, under their own notice, and you would ask them for that directly. Any edit to this notice is made on this page and nowhere else, so this is the only version there is. Nothing here is retroactive: if the office ever wanted to do something with your details that this page does not currently permit, it would ask you first, in writing, and a request already sitting on the desk would keep the terms it arrived under. This site publishes no ratings, no scores and no comparisons of that sort, and the handling of your details is not shared with anyone who does.
